Ernest Race DA2 Wing Chair
Sorry this wonderful chair has been sold!
1940’s DA2 wing chair by British furniture designer Ernest Race.
Upholstered in Bayswater Mainline flax by Camira which is a 70-30 wool/
flax blend.
The frame is made from light steel – vertical rods are welded to the
frame to create the chair’s fantastic shape.
All new upholstery materials have been hand stitched to the metal frame. The coil springs have been reconditioned in the seat.
The chair arms and buttoned back have rolled edges to give the chair
it’s distinctive curves and shape.
