Ficus benghalensis ‘Audrey’
Description
Ficus benghalensis ‘Audrey’
Another iconic Ficus; this is an understated contender for the Fiddle Leaf Fig’s crown.
—
~*~Subtitle~*~
Native to the forests of India and Pakistan, the Audrey is also known as a ‘Strangler Fig’ as it grows on other trees, eventually enveloping them.
—
~*~Latin~*~
‘Audrey’
—
~*~Why~*~
Perhaps even easier to care for than the more traditional Rubber Plant and with a more striking foliage.
—
~*~How~*~
Watering: When the top two inches of soil has dried – approximately once a week; do not mist.
Light: Bright, indirect – some sun is fine, but avoid south facing aspects in the summer as the leaves could scorch.
—
~*~Unique~*~
We work hard to provide a clear photograph and description of your chosen plant. However, all plants are unique and, whilst the pot size remains the same, there is always variation in size and shape from one plant to the next.
