~*~Subtitle~*~
Hoya ‘Chouke’ first appeared as a happy accident in 1995. Botanist Emilio Begine had a Hoya Carnosa and a Hoya Serpens in flower next to one another. A seedpod appeared which split open and produced two seedlings with distinct foliage; the Hoya ‘Mathilde’ and Hoya ‘Chouke’ were born, with the ‘Chouke’ being named after his wife who had passed away.
