KHIDAKEE Oval Border Natural Rug Hand Woven Jute

The Khidakee Rug range is a simple design featuring natural raw jute which has been braided with a stylish off-white border.  Jute is highly sustainable and comes from one of the fastest growing plant types.  Its long, strong fibres make it ideal for weaving.

This Khidakee is Oval in shape and comes in 5 Different Sizes.

These lovely products are hand woven by skilled artisan weavers.  Strips of jute are braided and stitched together to give a striped pattern.  The result is a simple flat weave rug around a centimetre in thickness.  This makes them ideal for placement under furniture as well as in an open room.  Look out for the authentic GoodWeave label, and the unique number, which gives you assurance that your rug has been ethically sourced from a closed network of high quality producers. The rugs can have bits of darker jute as this is a natural material and sometimes can have a rustic look and feel.

The rugs are reversible and they can be rolled up when not in use.  They can be shaken or spot cleaned.
