Native to the rainforests of Central and South America, this is a houseplant icon; you’d struggle to find anybody who hasn’t at least heard of a Peace Lily! The NASA clean air study identified the Peace Lily as one of the top plants for air purification.

~*~Why~*~

The Peace Lily is a bit of a diva; if you forget to water it will dramatically collapse looking limp and lifeless. However, simply give it a good soak and it’ll pop right back up in less than half an hour.

~*~How~*~

Watering: When the soil has dried to the touch; approximately once a week in the height of summer and once every 4 weeks in the winter; be careful not to overwater as this can lead to rotten roots.

Light: Prefers slightly more light than the non-variegated varieties – ideally bright indirect.
