Stromanthe sanguinea ‘Triostar’
Stromanthe sanguinea ‘Triostar’
Description
Stromanthe sanguinea ‘Triostar’
The vibrant cream stripes on the top of the foliage contrast against the deep pink undersides.
—
~*~Subtitle~*~
Whilst these are commonly referred to as Calatheas, the Triostar is in fact a Stromanthe, a close relative with incredibly similar care requirements.
—
~*~Latin~*~
‘Calathea TrioStar’
—
~*~Why~*~
One of these beauties made it’s way home with us in 2017 and has been a key member of our collection ever since. The Stromanthe is incredibly forgiving if your forget to water it (more so than a traditional Calathea) and tolerant of a wider range of light levels.
—
~*~How~*~
Watering: When the soil has dried to the touch – approximately once a week; mist occasionally.
Light: Bright Indirect.
—
~*~Unique~*~
We work hard to provide a clear photograph and description of your chosen plant. However, all plants are unique and, whilst the pot size remains the same, there is always variation in size and shape from one plant to the next.
